    If you have a dog that cannot be controlled on a leash, read on.  There are many dogs that will pull incessantly when they go for walks.  Frequently traditional collars, choke  chains, pinch collars, and harnesses just do not control the pulling and tugging.  It feels as if your arm will be pulled from the socket.  Sooner or later , people become discouraged and just do not walk their dog.  We sell a special collar called a Gentle Leader.  It is also known as the Promise collar.  This collar looks a little like a muzzle but works by applying tension below the muzzle instead of the neck.  Remarkably with just a few days work a two year old youngster can walk these dogs.  The Gentle Leader has been sold for about 8 years.
